Inter-religious Dialogue

Interreligious and intercultural dialogue at BFmF e.V.

The BFmF e. V. is particularly concerned to strengthen the dialogue between the different religious communities and cultures, as this is an important prerequisite for mutual respect and the cohesion of society. Both through their professional work and their special cultural proximity to the target group, the center’s employees have been able to acquire many years of expertise. Therefore, the BFmF e.V. has been an important contact for employees of governmental institutions and NGOs since the beginning. Since “Muslim Life in Germany” has gained more and more social relevance over time, the Center has been providing this important offer of inter-religious and inter-cultural dialogue for multipliers as well as interested citizens for more than 15 years without interruption within the framework of various federal and EU projects.

The project “Kennenlernen verbindet – Unsere Gesellschaft offen – demokratisch – stark!” (Getting to know each other connects – our society is open – democratic – strong!), which is funded by the Federal Agency for Civic Education and will run until the end of 2024.
