The support of voluntary work takes up a very large part of the work of the BFmF Integration Agency. People – with and without a migration background – who would like to become active as volunteers can contact the Integration Agency. Here, the existing commitment of citizens in the area of integrative coexistence is to be further expanded and professionalized. For a volunteer assignment in the BFmF, we advise on possible areas of assignment.
If you feel like volunteering, just contact us! We can work with you to consider what areas you would like to get involved in:
- Support for school children for linguistic and academic advancement
- Cooperation in German courses and literacy courses
- Reading sessions for children
- Accompaniment and support of refugees or socially weak individuals or families by taking over a sponsorship
- etc.

To support the voluntary work of other migrant self-organizations, the IA offers information events, supportive consultations as well as further training on various topics upon request. As an experienced MSO, the BFmF e.V. can be a role model for the professionalization of other associations and supports them with advice and support.
